Anyone have a measuring tape?
The DW and I are looking at one of two options. My option of choice is to refit our Forrester to make if suit us. My DW is looking at the FR3 and thinking that it would be less trouble to swap.
I was wondering if any of you kind FR3 owners might be willing to break out a measuring tape and measure your sleeper sofa length? Our jack knife sofa is 66 inches wide tip to tip and I would like to replace it. (Even though putting it out would block the ladder. I am not opposed to swapping the dinette and sofa spots to fix that) I have been unable to locate a sofa sleeper that will fit. They're all either too big or too small. The arms on the FR3's sofa look thin so I was hoping that it might come it at the required 66 inches. If not, then I'm looking at swapping the dinette and sofa which would be a harder sell.
Also, I was curious what the weight rating is on the overhead bunk. The Ace was rated at 250 lbs. Is this the case for the FR3? We need the added sleep space and would like to use that bunk for kids. The problem is that kids like to bounce and a 250 lb rating might not cut it if two kids get going.
