Awning Lights / Fog Lights

Does anyone have an easy solution to shutting down the fog lights when you have the awning lights on? Very annoying as people are continually "reminding" us that our lights are on...2016 25DS

Awning / LED Lights

Check the photo. You'll see that when you hit the "LED" light switch in the cockpit to light the awning it also lights the front LED's which include the fog lights. Want to just light up the awning, who knows the secret?

Thats what we thought too. This was the actually steps i followed credit to member svwc

- took the cover off where the awning wires go from the interior to the outside
- found 4 wires, 2 large dia for awning power, 2 smaller for lights, one is power, other was ground
- the awning led light power wire was red/black and connected to a gray wire that ran down & headed back towards the coach batteries
- found the wire in the plastic protective casing behind the steps, cut gray wire
- run a fused wire from the + battery side to a switch I mounted beside the other switches inside, then connected to the cut gray wire running to the led awning lights

I changed the headlights to rid myself of both the LEDs and the "not so hot" headlights. At that point did not want the LEDs on the fog lights either. I cut the wires and covered the ends that went to the fog light LEDs. I am quite happy now that others don't tell me about the lights when at a campsite.
