Vent pipe should go all they way out roof. Hard to believe water would get back in camper that way.

breather pipe is outside, right? If it's a light rain, might not be hard enough to make leak as there is no pressure forcing water......only way water can get to the inside of skylight would be if it's cracked or the caulking around it is bad

You need to discount the water around your skylight as having anything at all to do with the blank tank flush operation. Even if the check valve under the cabinet was faulty how on earth would the water spray out of the cabinet and then go up to spray the skylight. Your description of the problem with the black tank is a bit too fuzzy for me to understand. Sorry. Why would you back flush the tank until it is full anyway. That's not necessary. I back flush all the time and time it so I have about a half tank and then open the valve on the flush gadget. I night repeat it several times until the water comes out clear.

Sounds like Bob has it correct....this valve has been replaced twice (under warranty) in my 282RK. Next time I'm going to replace it myself with an all brass valve.
