Backup camera giving no signal

We have the 2014 30ds. Has anyone else had trouble with the back camera giving no signal at times if you have had the issue resolved what did you find. Can never get it to dealer when it happens

If you remove the six screws that secures that panel you can check that your connections have not come unplugged. Use some electrical tape to secure it. I had to replace the radio and notice how loose those connector were. Should take about 15 minutes. If that doesn't do it, then you do need to get it in I suspect.

Mine has been a nightmare from the get-go. Works on occasion. The pigtail connection is the issue. You could cut both ends and wire direct to solve. FR keep saying they will fix but each time I take it in, it's the only time it works. I asked them to send me a new multiplexer and I would install myself. I simply got no reply!

For now, I have the pigtail laying on the floor and each time it shuts off, I wiggle it to get the signal back. I will eventually direct wire. No thanks , and no help from FR.

Is the pigtail located in the front panel where the screen is located

Pigtail is the connection between the monitor and the multiplexer. Follow the wire from the back of the monitor until you see it...

any one have a blurrier back up picture, clean it off but still blurred.

Yes sides are clear as a bell , just back up fuzzie.

My 2015 30DS is the same. Absolutely crystal clear side cameras and a blurred rear camera. Never asked the dealer about it but I will on next service. And I have cleaned the lens with mo improvement .
