"banging" noise when FR3 parked

Has anybody else noticed an intermittent banging noise coming from the rig (2014 30DS) while parked? It seems to happen more at night than day (temperature related?). It's not continuous, but rather random, a couple times in an hour, for example. Doesn't happen all the time.

If anyone has noticed this noise, do you know how to get rid of it?

Thanks.

What I have read other have similar issues and it related to the hydraulic fluid in the levelers cooling down after a hot day.
I have seen Lippert add some stuff to the tank system other than ATF.
Not sure what it was but suppose to stop the expansion and contraction of the fluid.

Maybe someone will know.

Iggy is correct. It's called stiction. Had it with our coach when new and used the Caterpillar version of anti stiction fluid and it corrected our problem. Here is a link. Hope it helps. http://www.lci1.com/images/support/lipsheet/0295.pdf

Additive is Stichen fluid first adopted by Caterpillar for it hydraulic equipment. They market the additive as well as many others. It's a anti friction fluid used directly with hydraulic fluid, Lippert recommends remove one quart of system fluid and blend same amount in. Lippert, Cat and others have sites on the subject.

Yes this is what I saw the Lippert guy add to the tank now that I see the label.

I have the same thing happening with my 2016 Georgetown 328. This be a required fix accomplished by a Dealership in my opinion. It isn't a difficult thing though. I definitely will be accomplishing this and hope it helps. Thank you everyone for halping solve a problem.

After the first quart our problem was greatly reduced, but did still have the occasional issue. I added the second quart and haven't had an issue since. One may be enough, but in my case a second quart was needed.
