Bathroom sink pitted?

My 2014 DS30 bathroom sink has always been cleaned after each trip yet the poor quality material appears to be rusting in spots. Anybody else have this happening? I've used green scouring pads to try to remove the marks. They won't go away.

Same issue on our 2015 after only 5 trips. I always clean it with Clorox wipes after every trip.

Try Cameo stainless steel cleaner on kitchen & bathroom sinks.

Looks like the sink(s) were subjected to sodium hypoclorite which is corrosive. That is likely to occur during the sanitization process.
