Best speed for best MPG's

Wondering what folks are seeing for MPG's with their FR3's and what's the best speed for best MPG's?

Stationary at the camp site. No variables to consider.

Just over 7 MPG, 2,400 KM trip from Vancouver Canada to Palm Springs pulling a CRV. Most of the way down the coast highways averaging about 55 MPH. Tried keeping the RPMs around 1800. Lots of slow portions through small towns, many hill climbs and then back down again. Used the tow mode often, especially down steep grades to lessen brake usage.

From Dallas to Livingston texas - got 8.6 MPG with an average speed of 60-65.It was pretty much flat interstate roads without a lot of wind issues. We tow a Fiat.

There's a reason they went to double nickel 55 during the gas crisis in the 70's. I just can't seem to drive that slow.

BTW those semi trucks flying by at 85 to 90 mph only have tires rated for 75mph.

I can't drive 55!!! I've always kept my motorhomes at about 63mph. No to fast, not to slow. I'll be the same with JeNNY.
