Black Streak Magic Potion

Does anyone out there claim to have the magic chemical to remove the blackish streaks that come from the gutters. I tried what worked on the boat but marginal success. I got the body clean but the decals still show it.
Thanks to all , Hope your Holiday Season is going well.

I know it's going to sound weird, but try Dow Scrubbing Bubbles Bathroom Cleaner. Works better than any black streak remover
It's also the best stuff I've found to remove bug guts, dead bugs, bird poo.
Just spray it on a surface out of direct sun, let it work fro 5 minutes, than brush it off with a wet brush. Lot easier to use with a soft brush on the end of an extension handle than trying to balance on a ladder using a dryer sheet.
Been using it for awhile now, and it dosen't hurt paint or graphics, plastic or rubber.

Be careful using kitchen/bathroom types of cleaners on your RV. It can remove your wax finish and the UV protection they provide. I only use black streak removers made especially for RV's and found they all work well.

I use a cleaner called reliable, spray on wash off. It's the best cleaner I have found next to Greased Lightning or Simple Green. Reliable can be found at any RV store

LA Awesome from the dollar store works great and no elbow grease needed.

Of course Scrubbing Bubbles will remove wax. So does Simple Green, Awesome Cleaner, Crud Cutter, and any other strong de-greaser that has been named. Even the repeaqted use of dryer sheets will remove wax.
I've never found an rv rated black streak remover that will completely remove black streaks after they've been on awhile. They all seem to leave a "shadow" of the streak.
As for bug guts, you don't think anything strong enough to soften them up won't remove wax?
As far as the Scrubbing Bubbles, it is safe to use on any surface in a bathroom, from plastic to glass, tile, ece ect ect, and I've found it does not harm decals, rubber, paint, plastic, vinyl on my Lexi.
Simple fix...go over the area after it's cleaned with some Turtle Wax Ice. Goes on very easy and wipes off easy. I can do my Lexi in an hour.

I found using siding cleaner from Home Depot works pretty good, pour some in a spray bottle and apply it, with light rubbing if needed and a rinse the streaks are gone.

this may sound odd but here goes...
When was teh last time you cleaned and resealed your roof membrane?
I clean and seal mine first thing in the spring and once again about late August.

We try not to park under sap bearing trees when on the road and at our seasonal we don't have any trees hanging over our unit.

The black streaks are coming off the dirt on teh roof (makes sense that if you haven't cleaned it at least once a year...)

We use Camco roof cleaner and resealer as well as the Camco black streak remover to get the job completed. We also have changed our short gutter spouts for the ones with the extensions.
if you have short spouts, try clipping a wooden cloths pin onto the spout. It lets the roof rain water clear the side of the trailer.

Bleche White! It is for cleaning whitewalls on tires. I also use it to clean my rubber roof. By keeping the roof clean, it minimizes black streaks on the sides.
Compared to scrubby bubbles or Awesome (I tried the both) it is better. The other work too, but Bleche White has the least effort.

Thanks for all the response. I will try the bath type cleaners that we may have in the cupboard as a start. I haven't cleaned the roof yet. The coach was built in august of this year.

For black streak remover I use Reliable. I think it does the job very well. It even removed mold off of the molding on our Sunseeker after we took it out of an underground mine where we store it in the off season.

Scrubs works for sides, roof and awning pressure washer. Just fan your sprayer and no chemicals required.
