Black tank leaked into outside RT storage box.

After 2 days of beach camping I thought I'd dump the black tank the following day, therefore we drove home. When we were unloading personal items we noticed a foul Oder. After a few hours I noticed a outer storage compartment on the right side was full of stinky liquid. Has anyone else experienced this?

IF the check valve for your black flush is installed backwards it might let black tank fluid leak out of the flush valve when the black tank is full or close to full .
I think my check valve is in backwards because I tried to add water to the black tank through the flush line and it would not flow and when I took the hose loose it had pressure from the hose on it.

I just took mine off and went from the flush inlet to the tank. Works great and eliminated about 10' of hose and the restrictions of the valve.

Where is it located? I almost sure mine is on backwards. Is it near the hose connection or down by the tank ?
