Suggestion: The line that water comes out of when the pump is on (or not) is the low point drain. There should be a seperate low point drain for hot and cold. The pump only pressurizes your system after the water tank. The water tank has a gravity only drain. It is just a hose so the possibility of a kink exists. That hose is always lower than your water tank. Unless the factory never installed one! Here is a pic of what you are looking for. Left white is cold low point. Center red is hot low point. Right white is FW tank drain. Note how the FW drain tee's off to the water pump inlet.

Can you give us some details on your Go Power Solar system setup??? maybe some pictures as well. TIA

GoPower Solar

pkenley...I had a transfer switch, solar controller, 3000 watt Pure Sine Wave Inverter with remote, and 5 GoPower 100 watt flexible panels installed. I will be mostly in the southwest so tilting is not a concern, and most people do not get on the roof to tilt panels anyway, unless camped for extended periods. I will be upgrading the two 12 volt coach batteries, to four 6 volt golf cart batteries sometime later this year.

Looks good! I'm working on mine right now. I have three 150 W rigid panels. Where did you drop your wires down? I was planning on going through the angled wood in the pantry. Click image for larger version

Also how do you find the regeneration time in good son with the two 12 V batteries? I've switched over 2to 4 6 volts.

I ran the wires down the refrigerator vent, and mounted the controller and inverter remote in the panel above the fridge.

From what I can tell in a short period of use the regeneration and AH's are no way as good as 6 volt batteries, that's why I will be upgrading to four 6 volts when I get the cash. I also wanted to get some use out of the new 12 volts that came with the MH. Seemed a waste to throw them away.
