Chassis

What Chassis is under the FR3 30DS? I have a 2016 and want a steering stabilizer.

I installed a Roadmaster Reflex Steering Stabilizer on my 2015 30DS. The improvement in the handling was awesome. So much easier to drive.

Was it easy to install? That is what i ordered. It should be here tomorrow. The only problem is they didnt have a kit for 2016 so i ordered the 2015 kit.

I put on the roadmaster as well. Took all of about 30 minutes and makes a huge difference.

Very easy installation, nailed it on first try, no re-adjustment required. Just make sure your tires are turned as straight as possible. Up to you, but I would suggest getting an alignment when done. My "total toe in" was way off. Should not be different from 2015 to 2016, same chassis.

Just be aware that though you have a 2016 fr3 the F53 chassis might be a 2015 though they are probably identical. It is common for them to be different years.

You need the RSSA stabilizer, the bracket could be one of the two listed. Mine took the RBK9. I would suggest you call Roadmaster with your VIN and they can confirm the bracket. Also do a price comparison on Amazon. I purchased from Amazon and saved quite a bit.

I called roadmaster and they said RBK9 was the right one for the 2015. That is the one I ordered. It came in today, I will try it Saturday.
