Check Fuel Cap

I had the check fuel cap light come on. I screwed it back on and light is still on. Anyway to clear this? Anyone have this problem?

Try cleaning the rubber seal with a paper towel and also around the neck of the gas fill tube. May have a big of dirt or debris.

It also does not turn off immediately, it may take a few drive cycles.

You may also want to have your gas cap tested to be sure it's venting properly. Most shops or part store can do this for you.

If it is your cap. My past experience is if you buy a new one, the factory ones are alot better than the cheaper aftermarket ones. Buy it online through usually alot cheaper than the dealer, but you must do your research and know your part numbers.
