Converting to porcelain toilet

Apologies if this has been addressed - searched and can't find a conversation about it. We have a 2016 30DS. We would like to switch out the stock toilet for a porcelain. Should we purchase from Camping World or have dealer do it? Have any of you done this? If so, which model/brand? Thanks so much!

What does your bracket look like they use several types. Our bracket is similar to this and looks to be 30-40 lb capacity.

Rv Toilet replacement

Found this video on an earlier post. If the toilet seat replacement (with something other than plastic) doesn't do it for you, there are many choices for replacements (including porcelain) and as long as you get the right dimensions, this is a good DYI project.

It is an easy swap. Consider getting the higher toilet so it is more comfortable.

I don't know what brand you have, but I just ordered one this morning (Dometic 310) from adventurerv.net. Check them out, they have great prices. Also, you can find video of the change out on youtube. Looks like a simple job.

Our tt came with the 310. Like the height and the easier to clean porcelain bowl. Only issue we had was with the Blue Streak dispenser and I installed the tee too close to pedal and chemical was not dispensing properly. After watching online Video, I saw my mistake. Was able to flip tubing and tee to near the top of bowl, works great now. Neverlessv the piping pulls out fron top of toliet to install without pulling the toliet in case your are interested.

Easy to change toilets, unless you're like me with a bad back, bad knees, and poor eyesight. But even with those issues I did it, but I also promised myself I'd never do it again.

Still trying to understand the relevance of this mount? ;-)

When does a toilet equal a TV? The mount references above is for a TV. The toilet is mounted to the floor with a ring mount similar to the ones used in residential toilets. It uses a rubber gasket instead of a wax gasket and two bolts.

Now, I'll agree that there's a lot of effluent on TV, but the TV bracket won't work on a toilet.
