De Winterizing ????????

Folks,

I would like to apologize for all the newbie questions but I think I'm making this harder than it is.

Need a walkthrough on de winterizing as my dealer has failed me.

First off all my valves, hot and cold were set to use mode when I picked up the rig a few weeks ago. The anode rod is out and the lines have anti freeze. What are the steps to complete this process or is there a video link you can guide me too. Also, with respect to the low point drain, what part does this take in the de winterizing process. I looked under the rig by the low point drain decal and found only one hose coming from a basin. I opened the door above the decal and I see hot and cold water lines.

Really do appreciate the help!!!!!

There are other posts on this as well. here is what I do.
Hook up the city water and flush the crap out of everything through the faucets etc all on at the same time. Turn off the water supply, Then close all the faucets, open a low drain if applicable and drain everything. Pull anode rod plug rinse out inside hot water tank. Reinsert plug only. You can sanitize the lines with a mild bleach solution, then redo the whole flush again only replace the anode rod this time. close all drain points and you should be good to go. OR, just hook up to the city supply and flush everything out by running water for about 30 min and leaving all faucets on but open grey and black tanks to flush all the crap out. The new antifreeze is supposed to be non toxic, but at one time they told us not to drink milk or eat butter. As for me, I will sanitize the lines, not that having a third eyeball growing out of my neck would be a bad thing....

have fun and Happy Camping!

What I would add to this is that if you choose to sanitize using a mild bleach solution, do so with your hot water tank in bypass mode. You don't need that bleach solution in your hot water tank, although some do. Do a search in here on sanitizing with bleach, there is lots to read and proper mixing ratios are there also.
