Direct TV FR3

I want to watch Direct TV on all three TVs in the FR3. Direct recently installed a control box behind my living room TV and installed a HDMI cable to the living room TV. The installer told me that the receiver only works with the living room TV. How do I receive Direct TV programs on the bedroom and outdoor TVs?

Hi,
I'm not tech savvy. Do I purchase a wireless component to connect via HDMI.
Thanks,
Bob

What model box do you have?

There are some analog transmitters/receivers out there... but none of them will transmit HD signal unless you want to spend few hundred dollars...
Here is one HDMI transmitter kit... but you will need a couple of them to do 2 more TVs
Also you will need a HDMI splitter, so you can feed the TV and the Transmitter
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06X417B6C?psc=1

Using the cheaper analog for less than $30 will not work.
One of the problems with a DirecTV or for that fact Dish Network is the box, when you connect to the Video/Audio out ports.. the box then goes into 480i mode (so every channel is Letter box), then there is NO HD on the HDMI port, once you disconnect the Video/Audio cables the box switches back over to true HD on the HDMI port.

and depending on the box, there is no more coaxial cable out (Channel 3 or 4) to connect to a TV.

So I what I am saying there is no easy way EXCEPT having 3 boxes, they do have some wireless units... but alas DirecTV charges for each box AND you need your own wireless router to interconnect all of them to the main box!

There is also this one....
1 Transmitter and you can have 2 Receivers again a little pricey. about $350

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071VCK1FG?th=1

By the way these options are to watch the same channel on all TV's.
If you want to watch different channels on the other TV's, then you need the DirecTV boxes!

IoGear has a HDMI wireless system that uses one HDMI in port from the satellite receiver wireless link for one HDTV and a second hdmi port than connects with a hdmi cable to a second HDTV. The other option if only one tv is in use is moving the IoGear wireless receiver to the second HDTV. 100 ft range.

For my application I ran an hdmi out of my dish VIP box to a three way hdmi splitter. One hdmi cable output goes to the kitchen Tv. Another goes to the outdoor tv. You have to run that cable because at least on my 2014 all that was run outside was a coax and RCA. The last hdmi runs to the bedroom. This would simulcast the same shows on all Tv's.

You can add an Rf remote control converter that would allow the VIP remote to work without line of site. But. The newer dish box offered by campers would has an rf remote.
