Depends on where you are. Under normal conditions, it will shut off when the temperature in the RV is around the set point on the thermostat. If you are in Phoenix in July, it will likely never shut off if the thermostat is set to less than 75.
X2. That is exactly right. Because the outside temp is higher by a greater margin, and the fact that the insulation is minimal compared to a stick built home, your a/c can't catch up sufficiently to cycle off.
