Dometic fridge door panel slips

Noticed this morning that the black lexan plastic panels on the fridge door have slipped down.

Apparently they are cut .25 in smaller than the trim and glued in place. Over the winter the glue seems to have evaporated.

Perhaps due to freeze expansion. Click image for larger version

Anyone else find this? I slide mine back up and placed small rubber flat spcers in to keep mine in place.

Yes. My 2015 FR3 30DS did the same thing. Fr admitted they cut them too short. Sent me a replacement free even though out of warranty. Took 30 minutes to replace.

I pulled the plastic cover on top, lifted the panel and put liquid nail behind it to hold. Seems fine now.

Same Problem

We have a 2014 30d and our refrigerator has the same problem. Is it easy to remove the trim?

Yes the top trim pops off and you pull up the panel and put in the liquid nail or what ever use.
