Door hard to close.

Found door screws at hinges not holding but stripping. Thinking of pop riveting.

All screws were loose causing door to sag. Making door latch to slightly miss. Tightened screws but several won't hold due to thin sheet metal.

1/2" or 5/8" should be more than long enough.

Rivets worked. I should submit my time for warranty work.

Try bigger diameter screws first. If, the pop rivets don't hold you will have to drill them out to try something else. Worth a try. Suggest you start them with a drill motor, then hand tighten them to snug.

Bigger screws didn't hold. BTW other side of hinge is pop riveted from factory.
