we just got an 18 30ds. i am 5'10" and its doable for me but if i want the wife to drive it must be lowered. what is the stock ped hight? where do i measure. also in a previous tread i saw where someone redialed the pass seat base to solve the "to close to the wall" issue. mine seams ok but i don't sit there yet.

I just drilled 4 new holes and shaped them to hold the square carriage bolts. About an inch over and now the seat spins.

something to check= I have a 2012 390bh (new to me) I have an adjustable seat- but with it all the way down it was still to high.
This winter while removing the seats to get it recovered, I discovered the base had 8 washers on the studs through the floor. 4 on top of the base 4 on the bottom. I put it back together with all washers on top and removed the carpet from under the base. Dropped the seat 3/4 inch. Made a big difference- for free!

I agree with the idea of all front seats "Driver and passenger" seats should be height adjustable and standard as a normal consideration for all types of buyers. There is a big difference between me driving being 6'8" and the DW driving 5'5". But what do I know... I feel the toilet seat should be adjustable too.

Sad. Because FR knows this. And they don't care... The hour that you test drive this rig doesn't give you a chance to see this hge flaw... I'm five 2 and used to. Things being to tall.. but when my husband complains about it you know something's wrong...
