Electric fan install

Sorry for the length of this and I know this has been discussed before in other threads but, I'm hoping that there is a 2014 FR3 owner that has installed an electric fan update. Our FR3 has a build date of 6/13 so it's one of the earlier builds. As I pulled the old vent shroud down, I was hoping to find it prewired for an electric upgrade. Unfortunately, no such luck. There is nothing but a 2x2 board going cross ways to the front and back of the opening, and styrofoam everywhere else. I can stick my fingers in a little ways, but am unable to find any wires.
If a 2014 FR3 owner with a build date close to mine did this update, and had the same problem I am, I would greatly appreciate knowing how and where you found 12V power.
Thanks!

I put mine in the bathroom and pulled the wires running to the light ... spliced into. Each time I turn on the light...I have power going to the fantastic fan as well.

I forgot to mention. I want to install the fan in the living area.
