Electrical question

After setting for few months on shore power my generator won't start, awning won't work and radio in coach won't work. Checked batteries and all are charged, any ideas.

How did you check your batteries to know they are fully charged? Did you use a volt meter or other?

I am assuming breakers and fuses have been checked?

Generator won't start as in won't turn over or turnover and not start? Those are 3 unrelated things. We need more info. 12-volt lighting not working? 12-volt igniters on stove working?

need a clarification. you used the word coach so I am assuming you are referring to a motor home that has both house and chassis batteries. which set did you check to say the batteries are charged?

The battery would have to be pretty damn dead for radio not to work. It works off the chassis battery assuming your talking about the dash radio. Please explain to us ALL that is not working.

what yr,make, brand, model of coach do you have?

are you referring to the 'Chassis' batteries for the engine, or the 'House' batteries for the coach?

typically the items you are referring to that are not working are actually on the 'House' batteries, as to not run down the engine starting batteries.

Are you sure you have your 'Charger' ON while on shore power?

Are you sure your shore power is ON?

Cavie,
Is your stove this way from factory?
In all the many campers I've owned or been in, I've never seen a 12v igniter to light the burners. Most have a knob that turns to create spark (piezo) and I have seen a very few with a AA battery igniter but never one connected to 12v.

Check to see that your main battery disconnect on the panel near the floor is on.

Just a suggestion.
