Extended Warranty

Hello everyone
We just purchased a new FR3 30DS 2018. At the dealership they were pushing an extended warranty. I was offered an 7 year extended warranty that to me was very high. So I decided not to purchase it. Are they really worth it. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Extend

Its better to get a good SAM extended warranty its pretty much taken nation wide. Where as dealer sold warranty mite not be and you will have to pay out of pocket first . Al so Good sam you can cancel any time or transfer.

Thanks for the input! I've only had it a few weeks and there is already bugs popping out on it. Thank goodness I have at least 1 year warranty from the manufacturer. As the end of warranty gets closer I'll start looking at the extended warranty plans.

Add to the list the Onan warranty is for 3 years on the generator. We opted not to get one, but mainly because I'm handy and rather do the work myself than be without the unit for some crazy amount of time.

One toll-free call!

We have owned a FR3 28DS for six (6) weeks. We bought the extended warranty from the dealer when we purchased the FR3. I called the dealer this morning to thank them.

All weekend we could not re-level the RV. We both did several Google searches, looking for a resolution.

The warranty came with 24x7 tech support! One call helped us find the tripped circuit breaker in the battery compartment!

Now we know what and where to check!

The roof warranty only covers the membrane unless I'm mistaken.
