Fantastic fan

Has anyone replaced their vents with fantastic fans in a 2017 30DS. Is there easy access to wiring?

Yea l put one in the back bedroom. Easy to do, just go slow and do it on a hot afternoon so that goop used to seal the seam on the roof is soft n more easy to remover. The wires were right there, no issues.

I was convinced that I didn't have the power wires in the bathroom vent after a search but after being told they were installed, I looked again and found them within finger range. Needed a grabber tool to get them out but they were, in fact, there. Might need to look around a little. I did all three vents on my 2015 FR3 30DS.

Thank you for your response. Mine just has the 2 vents. 1 bathroom and 1 in the kitchen area. So FR wiring harness already has wiring for fans in both those areas?

You have a different year and of course by now you know there is little documentation that comes with the coach. I asked FR when we bought ours if there was wiring in all fan locations and was told yes. I was disappointed when I did not find wiring in the bathroom after purchasing three fantastic fans. When others said they'd found wires in the bathroom in 2015s, I looked harder.

It's pretty simple to take the inside trim down to investigate. I suggest using a flashlight and mirror to look around. Any pair of wires in the area, molded together or separate, that ends is probably the wire. One molded pair I found wasn't even taped or wire nutted (sic?), just cut and stuffed.
