First Trip 2016 28ds

Our first trip was short 300 miles. Just down to a triathlon and back. We are very pleased. Based on others who have posted I had the dealer install the tru track, vent covers and one Maxx Air fan prior to picking the unit up. As indicated by others we have a few build quality issues, front passenger window won't close properly, bath door latch not even close to lining up, construction debris EVERYWHERE, jacks tripping curcuit breaker when pushing on off button, and few more. I think we will get them sorted, nothing fatal.
Did the CHF to the rear, need to do the front. Steering wasn't bad but truck passing got interesting at times and the front end wants to wallow around corners, on ramps were exciting.
Got 8 mpg at 60 mph with a slight tail wind both ways! Weather was cool so no a/c needed.
Believe it or not Ford listened to all of you! Transmission shifted great, no high rpm in lower gears, shifted through the transmission gears very civilly. Downshifts on grades were well timed and very smooth. Up shifted at the right time even on the up hill grade. 1750 rpm at 60 mph. 1900 rpm at 65.

What does a tru track do?
We too just finished our first trip with our FR3 28DS and had some of the same issues

Good deal. Get your alignment checked out and check your axle weights and adjust your tire pressure accordingly. Do it before your $500 tires get chewed up. We picked our unit up with 4800 miles and the steer tires look like their down 50% tread life. Rotated them to the back and balanced the rear set that we installed on the steers. Now at 12000 miles, they still look great.

Sorry, I should have said Tru Track steering stabilizer. It helps with steering play and front end wander.
