We also had an issue with a tire on our 2015, but our dealer took care of it. In the Ford booklet that came with our coach there was a tire warranty booklet from Goodyear.

Over all my wife and I looked at about every coach in this price range. To me all of them had the same level of quality, fit and finish. Some used little tricks here and there, but when it all came down we picked the FR3 because it had what we wanted, mainly a King Bed that was 80 inches long. As we have put the miles on it, little things have come up and I fix them so the end result is very few rattles, and many little improvements that make it so much more enjoyable. Still a long way to go, but Forest River has been most wonderful to help and advise when asked.

If you read all the forums, even on the 300K models, you will note, people that are unhappy about this or that. Like was said, people find it easier to complain than compliment.

LED lights under awning

When we turn on the LED lights under the awning the headlights also turn on.
We are worried that the lights will shine into other camp sites and bother other campers.
Does anyone know of a way to turn the headlights off but still be able to use the awning lights.
We have also installed other multi colored LED lights that we hooked up to the music...pretty cool....but would still like to use the ones that came with the camper sometime.

I just bought a 2016 FR3 28DS, so far I'm happy, however, can anyone tell me where the water filter is located, and is there a screen for the emergency exit window in the back of the bedroom slide. Dealer didn't know, and FR hasn't replied. Thanks in advance.

Unless they made changes, there is no water filter. They also usually don't put/give screens on the escape window.

Thanks Curt & Isabel, I appreciate your reply. Maybe we'll meet on the road some day, and we'll buy the coffee! Plan a trip to CA next year. Have a safe day!

Aftermarket roll up screen added so the window may be propped open to get more air flow in the bedroom
