FR 3 Pre Wiring

Can anyone confirm or deny that the 2016 FR3 vents are pre wired in order to add vent fans.
Thanks

They run along one side of the hatches behind the flashing on my '15. No terminals, use wire taps. There were a bunch of discussions about different kinds of fans and installing them in this FR3 section last spring if you want to read about options. Look around March 2015.

Wiring for fans in vents.

I found wiring for fans in all three vents on my 2016 FR3 30DS. I hooked up Hengs Vortex fans in the kitchen and bathroom, and a fantastic fan in the bedroom.

Were they just loose wires or did you have to tap into others? Did you just have to remove some trim to find them?

I'm new to RV's and just picked up a 2016 FR3 30DS

Just remove the ceiling trim panel (4 screws) and tucked away are 2 loose wires, ready for hookup to your vent fan.

I only found wires in the Living Room and Bed Room on my 2015 FR3 30DS. Maybe I should look again in the Bathroom as I purchased 3 fantastic fans (and was told by FR that "all" vents were prewired). Could also be a change from 2015 to 2016 to add bathroom wires.

Can you install a fan if you have vent covers?

My bathroom wires were tucked back up towards the front in the bathroom vent. It took a lot of looking in very tight spaces but they are there. Had to remove the light to fish them out and add some wire to each wire in order to reach the vent area.
