Right now I have been using it on my home WiFi but I plan on getting a VPN set up so I can use any available WiFi. Currently if I want to watch something at camp, I hook my HDMI from my phone right to the TV. The resolution this way isn't the best because it's going through the phone, but with ChromeCast the resolution is awesome. I don't know about the jetpack, but will look it up!

I just checked out the jetpack and the reviews and data issues would be prohibitive. Also it's Verizon and they don't like me since I got then in trouble with the FCC and the FTC.

I have a jetpak from Verizon. It really rips up the data when streaming movies, videos and such.
