FR3 32DS Question

Hello

I want to add a second air conditioner to the bedroom on my 2015 30DS and I notice that the 2016 32DS has a second bedroom unit.

It is my understanding that the 18,000 Atwood AC drawes 13.9 Amps on high.

Has the 32DS been upgraded from a 30Amp to a 50Amp?

If it is still a 30Amp can a 16,000 ductless second AC which I understand draws 11.3 amps on high be added to the 30DS in the bedroom and wired directly into the existing breaker or another breaker added to AC circuit in the electrical panel.?

Feel free to private email me. Thank you for the information.

Paul

Yeah, the 32DS is a 50 amp unit, which includes a 2nd AC and a 5500 watt genny.

Some have added a 2nd AC to the rear bedroom connected to a 20 amp extension cord. This way it can be plugged in to any pedestal along with the normal 30 amp plug.

From the website:
"5.5 KW Onan Gas Generator (32DS only) includes 2nd 18,000 BTU Equivalent Atwood™ Quiet Air Command™ Ducted Roof A/C with Chill Construction and Heat Pump"

Thinking about installing a 2nd AC unit as we do a lot of desert camping and the 30 DS single AC unit can barely keep up. Great idea about the 20' extension cord. Did a cord get installed from the new BR AC down through the closet to the shore cord compartment?
