FR3 Camera Issue

All 3 cameras no longer display on screen. No display when coach is running and blinkers are selected, when reverse is selected or manually selecting camera on the display screen. Same result when coach is off and radio is used. Searched the forum and found other issues but no total loss of all 3. I did remove the dash panel and could not find anything disconnected, anyone have any ideas???

Thanks in advance for any input

Resolved

Removed dash stereo/temp control panel, checked fuses, all good. Removed all connections from stereo and video splitter, put back together and it now works again. Cameras only work when coach is running or key on.

This part of the dash bounces up and down so much on bad roads and bridge crossings, one or more connections must have rattled loose. Time to figure out how to shore up this dash

My rig is much older, and I’ll bet others will agree, but camera units usually only work with key in ACCESSORY or ON, so your cameras are working correctly.

The rear lens camera on my RV seems to be sun bleach. It gives a yellow halo blurry view. Has this happened to anyone else? Does the outside cover come off so it can be cleaned? I would like to know before I go ripping it off. I might just need to replace it, but looking for other options first. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I made a storage box for under ours. Much better. I'll see if I can find a pic

Is there a way to manually select cameras?

My monitor is Voyager brand. It’s fairly old.....in fact it displays in black & white from my old black & white cameras.

Like in this photo, my monitor has buttons to select various camera options.

The rear camera can be turned on all the time through a menu in the radio. I leave our rear camera on all the time we are towing.

Yea I had the same problem

I didn’t like the time it took to switch from one to another. Also I had a camera that would not turn on all the time. So I bought this from amazon it seems to work out good. I like I can see all 3 cameras at the same time with out waiting for the next one to turn on.

This is what I did:
From an older (June 2018) Thread: Rear camera monitor

Amazon: Padarsey 7 Inch LED Backlight TFT LCD Monitor for Car Rearview Cameras:
Price: $27.99

I installed a 7' monitor to turn on whenever the engine on. I used the RCA video cable going to the radio. It the shows rear view all the time except when the turn signal is on, then it show the left or right view. I have used it for a year and love it.

The photo was taken while stopped on an empty road. It is only powered when the engine is on.
