Jim, I have a 2012 SunSeeker 3100SS and reading the tags under my hood, I have the v10 3 valve. My impression talking to the Ford rep at Hershey, all V10 are 3 valve. Love mine. Tow a car trailer all over the place.

not sure where you are getting your info from, but there are different versions of the engine and I'm pretty sure you don't have access to Fords software database to know what's in each PCM

The 3 valve V-10 did not come out until early 2005. Prior to that all vehicles that Ford made with a V-10, were the 2 valve V-10, 305-310 or so hp. Even the big class a with the Ford V-10 were 2 valve, until 2005.
The 3 valve V-10 was never and still is not available in an E-350 or E-450 Superduty van or van cut a way chassis.
The 3 valve V-10 is the standard engine for the F53 chassis. The 3 valve V-10 is also available in the F-250 and up (F-350, F-450, F-550) super duty series.
Notice I said the F Series, only.
The 3 valve 362 hp engine has never been, and is not available in an E series, nada, no-no, not ever.
If someone told you that you have a 3 valve 362 hp V-10 in your class c based motorhome, their blowing smoke up your wazzo. Unless it was a custom engine replacement, your E-450 and E-350 (optional engine) has a 2 valve 310 hp engine.

According to what Grumpy and others are saying here you have the 2V. I can't say one way or the other.

I don't need the Ford data base. My post was pointing out that I (or Ford) can limit the RPM ONLY and decrease peak HP. (With no other engine changes.) Every manufacture of most every engine model has done as much. This was also done on the Ford V8 Modular engines. We had a contract to change the RPM limit on all the police cars in one vicinity to get them another ~20HP. No other changes (other than speed limiter) were made.

Point is there are 2 seperate V-10 engines. They basically look identical, the only real difference being the head configuration, 2 valve vs. 3 valve.
2 valve is around 310 hp, while the 3 valve is around 365 hp.
Even in the E-350 and E-450 superduty chassis, either cut a way or stripped chassis, the V-10 is an option, the 5.4 V-8 being the standard engine.
In the standard E series van (regular work or passenger) the heaviest duty you can get is the E-350 and it comes with the 5.4 V-8. V-10 isn't even an option.
I wish the 3 valve was or had been an option on the cut a way...think of how your class c would run with 60 or so more hp, stock from the factory. Think of it, a 20% boost in hp. Now, that would be fun.

The easy way to figure this out is by the vin number. The 8th digit is the engine model code. The V10 2 valve lower horse power engine is S . The V10 3 valve higher horse power is Y. The Y is not used in the E series. The higher RPM can disconcerting at times but as long as the temperatures don't go above normal ranges it should not be a problem.
