FR3 Heat Pump

As I understand it the FR3 does not have a furnace (propane run for heating) just a heat pump. My understanding is that any temp below 40F and the heat pump is pretty much useless.

We were camping, here in Ontario Canada, during the second weekend in May this year and the temps got to 33F. We have a furnace so no problem we were nice and warm. We also camp in the fall up north and temps can range down to 33F then as well. Algonquin Park is beautiful in the fall!!!!

How does you handle this with a heat pump that doesn't work below 40F?

The FR3 has a heat pump in the air conditioner, as well as a furnace.
