Put it in the bay next to the batteries, otherwise you'll spend a fortune on cables for it.

I bought the FR3 in October and parked it for the winter. Still lots, and lots of snow here in Northern Ontario (Canada). With all the issues posted on the forum, I wonder what
kind of problems I will be facing...sort of getting anxious.

I put in my inverter, but noticed the ground prong wasn't grounded. I found that it was missing on the inverter. I returned it and got a new one. The New one was the same. Does anyone know why a manufacturer would choose not ground a ground pin? Otherwise it works fine. A GFCI/GFI won't be able to function without the ground, however.

One of my concerns with my FR3 is the risk of critters coming in where the electrical/cable comes in. (the 5"screw cap) I made this mod for the electrical/cable opening.
I took the cap from the low point drain opening (since the door covers it anyway) and cut it as shown in the comparison below

It looks like an Angel to me.

And in use it looks like this.

I still have the uncut cap for when I'm driving.
I want to do one like it for the water hookup next!

Well played. I pulled the panel for the water pump and valves, so Ill repurpose that cap too. Thanks for the idea.

You should have a manual, which I misplaced, so I found it on line. It's put out by Lippert Components Inc. (Electronic Leveling Plus). I found two different manuals with instructions for use and installation. I'll see if I can find the links (at a campsite right now).

I did not get a manual for the power front blind or the power jacks. When I needed to re calibrate the front blind I looked up the owners manual.

Other than being a PITA when trying to winterize, no, it doesnt. Well, I guess you could count aesthetics, but I prefer function over form.
