Combatcoal - re #186 Awesome rail. We received the clips from Forest River, built the rails - matched the screws that are on the ladder and ... it won't work. The screw snaps off when tightening. What is the secret?

many ways to sound proof and insulate the engine heat near the doghouse. i lined the doghouse and surrounding areas with the pipe insulation and secured it with foil tape. Works well, hlandles the healt and is much quiter. [emoji108]

Center Console -- addition
added this below the center console for more storage. excellent fit -- used double sided "red" 3M outdoor tape to mount. its not going anywhere. and a perfect fit for my console!

Good idea on the cord for the door KansasFR3, right now I just use a bungee cord hooked to the front wheel cover slot and attached to the lower bracket on the door. Keeps the door from moving around in the wind. On another note, I see you are from Wichita, I also live in Wichita. We bought the 2014, 25DS new and really like the way it handles and the fact that I can go almost anywhere with it and have. Maybe we will bump into each other sometime.

Bought our 2017 FR3 25DS on June 29th and headed directly to New Jersey from Northern California due to the unexpected death of my wife's 71 year old Mother who was on the road to recovery from liver cancer.
Just retuned after a month and had very little problems other than learning about the rig on the road. Once home I had to repair the drawer underneath the wardrobe/pantry, which flew out several times while making sharp turns. Also scratching our heads when water flowed out of the A/C one night and dripped on the floor.
Before leaving I managed to build shelves in the front closet similar to some I have seen here, but now after logging over 6500 miles on our first trip it's time to make some needed improvements. I was very happy to find that many of the things we decided to do are here in this thread, back splash, pantry improvements, bedroom shelves, etc.
Can't wait to get started, fixed the drawer and cracked bracing and first up is adding shelves to the pantry. I want to thank you all for your postings for us who needed the tips, and I will post mine here as well.

Last year add fan to bath room ,this time living room.
Got a Maxx Fan 4500.
Found brown and white wires in ceiling
2015 fr3 pre wired
clean off old caulk a pain in the ..........
I did blow fuse oops, fans are on ac vent no. 7 in 12 volt box.
didn't know that, do now.
Re caulk with dicor self leveling
works great!

Question. The condenser fans look like they are mounted on the frame. Why? If you're attempting to throw more air through the condenser they should be mounted to the front of the condenser. The frame is blocking any air. Or am I seeing wrong?

Hi, the condenser is mostly hidden behind the large transmission cooler. The lower radiator support has an elongated oval section open to expose the a/c condenser. The fans blow through the oval opening directly onto the condenser. They make a big difference at idle, or in traffic. The dash a/c works pretty hard to transfer enough heat to produce cool air out of the registers.

What brand & model condenser fans did you install ?
Are they temp controlled or are they tied in with the AC when it is turned on ?
Would love to install these on my coach, just need a bit of input on how they are wired in .

I went with RVI Tire Patrol TPMS.....hugely disappointing thus far. I have the RVI Brake3 and have been happy with it, so added TP as it integrates and displays tire readouts on same Android tablet.
The main issue is that sensors drop on and off randomly. Typically, on start-up, all 10 sensors display, but after driving for 10 minutes or so, sensors readings drop off, replaced with "?". After an hour or so, I typically see 3-5 readings, and remainder of tires show "?". I also question the PSI accuracy vs two other gages I use.
I guess the most frustrating issue is having left two v/mails for the CEO, plus other calls and emails, they have yet to get back to me to discuss these fundamental performance issues.
Anyone else using this and having better results than I'm seeing?
