2015 30DS.

Removed drop down bed added cabinets. Purchased doors from Fr to match, lined inside with carpet to deaden noise from cap,

Changed Dometic 15k AC with Atwood air command 18k with heat pump front and added in one in bedroom. Great air flow. Very quiet.

Changed, 4k gen to 5.5k and upgraded wiring to 50 Amp. So much more quiet. Moved exhaust to front behind front tire. Could not take exhaust under slide out. Also added auto change over for power plug. (No more forgetting to plug it in)

Changed TV annt to King powered unit. Much better reception.

Changed plastic toilet with porcelain quality unit

Added inside pull down screen on rear window

New head lights installed and aimed.

Also changed hot water heater to Atwood on demand, added slide out drawers to table benches, shelves in cabinets, Fantastic fans with hoods in bathroom and in front. Safe-T stabilizer and CHF. Lower pedestal on wife's chair. Outside motion light. New front Windshield as original was de-laminating..

More to come.

Holy cow! Great mods. You must be quite a woodworker.

Do you mean a mesh screen for keeping out bugs when the window is open? If so, could you please provide a photo showing that, with more details on what you bought ot built for that? Thanks!

Some one asked what al this cost. About $15K.

Given we paid $79K for the Coach New, and it is paid for, and it is prefect for our use, plus next step up was like $110K. Seemed logical given all the little issues are now fixed..

Few more mods coming and more detailed pictures for those who asked.

Given the the differential in price and the increased comfort level, ease of use, residual value, and I am sure expert workmanship it is a bargain. The investment in a depreciable asset is what it is but the upgrades in his unit means he is competing with coaches that will price escalate at a higher rate over time. So if and when it gets sold some of that upgrade money will get returned. Besides the fact it should be considered the queen of the fleet.

Roll up screen purchased from Quality Screen. A RollAway 4000
Mine was 43 inches wide. Made a wood frame and attached to the upper cover. Spaced out to allow current window shade to still work.
Screen cost $151.70 with ship. Made various spacer sticks that hold the window open.

I used command picture hanging strips to anchor them to the back wall. There is some room to the left for taller items like a broom. Here are some pics.

For a second I thought you put adhesive on the bottom of your kettle...

Nice work! I've been working on mine like crazy too. Haven't even had time to share any pictures. It sure is helpful seeing what others are doing.

I'm almost done with my over cab cabinets. Not as nice as B1's. But the whole project should cost around $225.

It's three-piece removable so if we need the bunk we can still use it.
