This gives me about 6 times the counter space... and tons of cupboard space, as well as a place to sit when there is just two of us

Nice- I have the exact same BBQ but I like using the wheels, so I don't think that would fit into the same storage cube with them on. I will try it but will probably just put the BBQ back in the large storage cube in the back.

Completed several mods on our 30DS before our trip next week.
1- UJGK111CZ1MR2R6F
2- Built a stepwell cover
3- Built a platform for the dog's crate (big black lab) that rests on the engine cover in the rear
4- Added shower curtain for additional privacy
5- Trimmed dinette platform so recliner would open and close
6- Installed sewer hose holder over the propane tank

Have a few more to work on after we return.Click image for larger version

I used two for each faucet. I already had a pex tool kit. But there is a shark-bite version.

Easy unscrew and screw the other one to the connection.
I’m sure some will need adapter but mine did not.

Pleated Shade Replacement

I'm in the process of replacing and selling some of the pleated shades in my 2016 FR3 30DS with Slow-Rise blinds. If anyone interested in excellent condition pleated blinds, PM me to discuss sizes and price.

Did you have trouble getting the valances off? How did that go? Some are attached to the storage cabinets.

The end valances and the dinette valance are installed with L-Brackets which are no problem. The valance above the seating area is attached into the overhead cabinet with a couple of screws, but didn't present any problem.

Borrowed this mod from this thread. Someone smarter than me! Added a wooden dowel to support the overhead bunk when no in use. Stops the rattle down. Picked up the wood and rubber feet stained it walnut.

Need a mount for my wind station for my weather station. Picked up an hitch mount for outdoor umbrellas, 10' of 1" pipe that has screw ends where you can connect them together. Cut the 10' pipe into two 5' sections for easy storage. Attached a metal plate to the top of the pole with a u-bolt. Affix the wind mount to the plate with VHB tape. Mount the sensor.

Added these DOT approved red & white reflector tape to the rig so the slides and bumpers are easily seen by oncoming bikes or people when walking/riding near the rig with the slides out.
