FR3 roof info

Hi All
I was going to put a UV protector on the roof of my 2014 FR3 since it's never been done in the 3 years we've owned it. Have a cover but, I wanted to be sure the roof was protected a little more.
I happened to have a look at the roof and as I was feeling the surface I said to myself that it sure didn't feel like a rubber roof as I was led to believe it was. I had a look at the brochure for my year and lo-and-behold I find that the roof is NOT rubber. It's a SuperFlex roof made by Alpha.
I sent an email of to their product & warranty dept. asking for their advice on what to use. Here is their reply;
"Your roof membrane already has UV protectants inherent in the material, you do not need to apply more. For any products that you want to use you just want to make sure that they say they are ok for a TPO roof, that is the type of membrane you have, you do not have a rubber roof."

I'm sure some of you out there already know about this but, for those of you that don't, this is good advice to keep in mind.
Just thought I'd pass it along.

I need to get up and clean mine and have been pondering the same question. Thanks to your inquiry I found this old topic. If I don't hear otherwise, I'll be getting some Murphys Oil Soap I guess and start scrubbing. It needs to be waxed this fall too.

Good info-we have the same year and of course there's no paperwork that came with the unit about the roof. We do cover ours in the winter months; have no issues so far and I wash the entire unit at least 3 times a year with wash/wax.
