FR3 vinyl flooring brand and model

Does anyone know the brand and model of the 'wood' vinyl flooring in the 2014 FR3? I want to have some remodeling done, including getting rid of the carpet on the slide and in the bedroom. I've called Forest River a number of times but can't seem to get anyone to call me back with the information.

By the way, I'm a brand new RVer, fulltime, and love my FR3. Of course, I have nothing to compare it to, but so far so good.

Thanks.

Barbara

I am a flooring installer. Most vinyl planks are usually Mannington and luxury vinyl shaw
you can get a piece and go to a local flooring shop .

Thanks, but is it sheet or plank vinyl?

Thanks, Hrlyguy2,

I'm wondering if it's plank or sheet vinyl. When I look closely, it looks like sheet vinyl. Also, not clear what you mean when you say get a piece and go to the store. I'm not pulling out the old stuff, so there are no pieces. I've tried looking online (looked at Mannington), but it's hard to tell if a certain model is a match.

If all else fails I'll just go with something that's close.

Most likely it is sheet goods. Most likely its under your carpet.must easier for them to lay a full piece down and put everything on top.
If your remodeling might be able to get a piece .

If it looks like the floor in picture two here:
New 2014 Forest River Flagstaff 8528 IKWS (Monterey Interior) Fifth Wheel RV - Bayou Outdoor Supercenter - Boats - RVs - Bossier City - Shreveport Louisiana

It's sheet vinyl. In my mind's eye I can *see* that big sticker on the floor...stain resistant, etc. but can't recall the brand name. Big round sticker on the floor by the door.

We're picking up a new 5er tomorrow that has that same flooring. I can ask the PDI guy to give me the maker's name on it.

I posted a link to the contacts for FR RVs in your other thread.

Weezer,

Congratulations on picking up your new fifth wheel. Looks really nice.

Yes, that looks like the same flooring. It would be great if you could find out that info.

Thanks, much.

Update

I finally got a reply from Forest River on this, thanks to Weezer who provided a list of contacts including email addresses. Hadn't had any luck with phoning, so I sent an email to Kathy Wing at FR.

Kathy says the name of the lino is Vintage Oak #845 made by Dehco, Inc. Turns out Dehco is a sort of conglomerate of companies, the one that makes RV building materials is called Cast. They either don't have a website or it's under construction. But, I figure I can try and give them a call and see if they sell pieces retail for repair or remodeling.

On the down side, the RV remodeling guy who I've been talking to just told me he won't be able to do anything until May. I really wanted to have it done sooner, so I'll keep looking around.

I am getting real to buying a FR3 25 and someplace I remember a post saying the entire floor is covered in the same sheet by nil, including under all the carpets, an extra waterproof level. You may not need anything else.

That would be good news. I did hear someone else say that, so I guess I'll find out when I pull up the carpet.

Thanks for the info.
