Fr3 walk through

So I went to the dealer in zero weather to do a walk through prior to purchase.

Found at least 12 to 15 items of concern. Biggest ones, the cab unit heater did not work and the front bunk bed motor crapped out. Also, found cracked cabinets, ripped vinyl/leather and the bottom of the shower had a gap where water can get in ( design flaw). Other design flaws, the bathroom cabinet handle would slam into the mirror of the door popped open and the other door would strike the hook on the wall.

All in all, the dealer who is a priority dealer is going to address every issue.

You should have received two of them. They are used to manually bring in the slide. They attach to a power drill. If I was home I would attach a pic. I have heard of some dealers trying to charge for them saying they are not included.

This is what you should have received. You only need one for both slides. I have already used mine out the middle of no where land!Click image for larger version

Nope,

I did not get those but then again I stopped the walkthrough after I found all of the issues.

Do you happen to know if it states in any of the paperwork that those flex rods were supposed to come with the unit as I am on a complaint roll now.

Thanks

Some people have found then in a drawer in the kitchen area.

Some have also mistakenly thought it was a tool accidentally left inside by a worker at the factory.

Good luck with your second go around.

Mine were in the plastic bag with all the remotes. They should also give you a little bottle of touch up paint.

Not the same one I received from the dealer, but it is used for removing the three "real" lug nuts off of your stainless steel wheel simulators so you have access to the actual steel wheels.

Don't let them BS you. Those flex extensions are definitely supposed to come with the coach. If they say no, tell them you'll be calling FR to report their lack of knowledge and customer service.

The T handle is used to remove the fake hub cap nut covers. One cap on each rim is removable. It has dimple on it. The other caps are molded in to the cover. My tire guy laughed at me when I handed it to him. He said it would break easily and instead used a heaven duty pair of channel lock pliers with rubber covers on the jaws.

OMG, so that's what those are for. I asked our salesperson, no clue. I thought they were for some of the square headed screws! Thanks!
