Fresh Water Drain

OK, I know this is a dumb question, but I'm a new FR3 owner, and was wondering how to drain my fresh water tank? Can someone tell me, where is the valve/switch is located? I've looked in the "Low Point" area and there are about 3 or 4 valves inside (not marked), and there are also two plugs under the coach, in the same area. The user manual tells you to drain the tank, but doesn't say where or how.

thanks for any help

You're in the right place, but it's not accessible by the door. Get down under and look underneath where the sticker says low-point drain. You should be able to turn both of these with your fingers or some plyer's if needed.

Under the coach should be the low point drains.

Thanks for the replies! There are three hoses underneath, two with plastic plugs that screw out, and one that appears to be a drain of some sort (has a screen on the end). Are both of the hoses with the plugs for the fresh water drain, and I should unscrew both? thanks again.

It is possible one is a low point drain.
The one with just the screen could be an over fill drain for the fresh water tank.
And yes drain all the water.

The two plastic plug ones are likely your hot and cold line drains. Are the pipe/hoses different colors? On my camper they are red and blue.

Yes, drain them both. Do the hot *after* you drain your water heater.

Here's an interesting point. When I was driving our new FR3 home, my wife following behind me, she noticed that every time I made a sharp left turn, water would spill out. After getting home, I checked all the drain lines at the low point drain, and everything seemed fine. I also had a look at the 3 lines on the outside of that compartment (fresh water tank drain). They also looked fine. I talked with Steve at FR and he advised me that the water was coming out of the overflow line. He told me of a quick fix. Add, or take the overflow line and put a loop in it. It'll act as a p-trap and should take care of the problem. Haven't tried it yet and am wondering if anyone else has had this problem?

Thanks to all for the great info. I finally decided to just take it to the dealer and have them winterize my FR3 (it's still under it's year warranty). Anyway, I asked to them show me the fresh water drain, and they did. I was told the hose with the screen was indeed the overflow (as suggested by members), the middle hose was the drain for the fresh water tank, and the end hose was the drain for the water pump. Again, thanks for the feedback and the "tips"

Did they show you how to drain the pump?

It's just like the fresh water tank drain, there's a plastic screw cap that unscrews from the hose, which allows the water to drain.

Ah, I was thinking there might be a valve inside that you need to turn.
Thanks.
