Front and bras for the FR3

Has anyone had any experience with Golden Horizon RV Products?
They have a front end Bra for the FR3 years 2014 - 22016.

All the accessories for these rigs! Once I've cleaned my bugs off I apply a thin coat of Pam cooking spray or a light coating of dish soap on the face of my coach. It makes cleaning the bugs off much easier. And the cooking spray comes in handy in the kitchen too.

Most vehicle bras keep bugs, etc off the frontend and mar the finish under it by the slight movement of the bra.

As OldCoot mentioned, most bras will mar the finish over time. The best solution I've seen is the clear bra that is installed over the entire front end. It leaves the grille section open so no air is restricted to the engine compartment. It's a little more expensive but, if cared for properly, it will last a long time. I've talked with a few that have had it put on and they swear by it. A couple have mentioned that they coat over it on trips, like Technorick mentioned. Keeps everything off the paint.

There are quite a few companies that makes the clear bra. 3M is probably the most popular. Best way to find someone that sells and installs is to Google "3M clear bra for RV" and see what comes up in your area.

Clear Bra is the way to go

You can find clear bra installers at detail shops and window tinting shops. I have only good things to say about it. When a rock hits the film it will tear and pucker up the film right where the impact was but you will find the paint is untouched. I have had it on one car for nine years now with no problems. I had it put on the front end of my toad and after driving all around Alaska and back home the lower part below the grill was peppered with tiny tears and plastic film puckers but the paint was untouched. The shop removed that piece of the film and replaced it after a buffing. Good as new and ready for the next trip. You should wash bugs off your paint asap but with the clear bra, there's no harm to your paint from bug juice ever. I paid $500 to have it put on but I figure I will get that back in resale value.

I'm considering a bra for my FR3 30 DS also...
The front nose of this thing is gel coat like a boat... there is no paint on it, so I think it would be ok... the decals could see a little wear possibly from the buffering going on.
I used bras on my cars for years and I always put a couple of coats of wax on before installing them so I never noticed any problems....
A bra will keep the rock chips to a minimum, but bugs are still going to be an issue up high....
