Front license plate

We just got our new FR3 registered and got the license plates. Discovered there are no holes drilled or bracket on the front for the plate to be installed. Wondering how others are dealing with this. Our state requires the license plate be displayed on both the front and rear.

All we did was just lay it up on the dash so it can be seen. I don't really care to drill holes in the front cap.

Ours has an indent on the bottom of the front cap for a plate. I did have to drill 2 holes for mounting.

Your local dealer should have had the plate holder installed when he ordered your unit.

I drilled the holes. Just put my plate on and marked the holes and drilled. It worked fine.

Same here, laid it and drilled pilot holes. There is extra material in that area.. Got SS screws from AutoZone and a nice cover for the plate.

Front license plate

I just used some heavy duty 3m tape to attach it.

I just finished drilling my holes to mount the front plate. I used stainless steel hard wear to mount the plate. I did drill all 4 holes.

We ended up drilling 2 holes at the top of the plate and used fender washers on the back for added support with stainless steel bolts.
