Exclamation Front wheel Bearings

Help Need to know if 2015 (2014 f53 chassis ) Fr3 Wheel bearings are SEALED OR grease pack able cone type bearings .

If grease able how often have you had them done? I think books say 30,000 miles .
Some one told me they are seal and not service able ,like dealer.

Front wheel bearings are the standard type bearings. Clean and repack, just like front wheel bearings of old. Rear bearings are lubricated by the rear axle gear oil.

I noticed you have a Cmax Energi. Do you flat tow? If so are there any issues with overcharging the battery while braking?

So far so good on flat towing the C-Max. The first year we had it we used a dolly on a trip from NY to FL. The second year we flat towed it. We did have a dead battery the first day out, but found out that was from locking the doors. This caused the perimeter alarm system to drain the battery. Just leave doors unlocked and no more problems. Just lock doors when we stop somewhere. No problems with the high voltage batteries overcharging.

I can second the Cmax has been great. I flat towed it over 5k miles this summer without issue.

The other alternative to the dead battery is to wire the hot center line to the positive battery post in the Cmax. Roadmaster has a kit that is pretty easy to install.
