I have an f150 crew cab that used to cost $100.00 to fill up and now it's less than $40.00. I love it.
FYI. I just ordered a 5-star tuner for my FR3 and am interested in seeing what it does for my overall driving experience. I don't expect much in the way of mpg savings as I've had them on other ford trucks and it didn't do much in that regard BUT I am excited to see how it changes the shift points in the tranny. It's common knowledge on here how the screaming and shifting of the f53 tranny is a little cumbersome and concerning to some. I understand these chassis' were designed with the rev points higher but I'm still not sold that it's a good thing in the long run.
I'll report back after our trip in March.
Yeah for sure I'd like to know about that 5-star tuner...
The only thing I've ever driven that revs out like my FR3 is a NASCAR car I drove once... and my Motocross bike.... nothing and I mean nothing I've ever driven on the road can rev like an FR3.... and mine will not go into 3rd or 4th gear unless I lift my foot.
I'm hoping gas prices stay down, but out here on the left coast, they always go up in the summer... some BS about summer blends and refinery shut-downs... they always hike it up in summer here.
I'm prepared for $3.00 fuel.
