Furrion TV Problem

I bought a brand new Forest River FR3 3 1/2 years ago. My living area has a 32" Furrion TV that just quit working. I had never heard of Furrion until I bought my FR3. Any body out there having problems with their Furrion TV or know anything good or bad about the brand?

Like you, we had never heard of Furrion until we bought our FR3. We had a problem with our rear TV not having video on certain channels, but the audio worked. Move TV to new location to verify it was a TV problem vs. cable. It was TV. We contacted Furrion Customer Service and they sent us a software update that fixed the problem. Might give them a call or email and see if they can help.

I replaced two out of the four under my extended warranty in under three years of use. I heard Furrion makes electronics for RV, marine, and aviation use. You would think they would be more durable than a regular television. Guess not with a 50% failure rate in my case.

Hello Mark & Connie,

I have 2 Furrion TV's in my 2017 FR3 32DS that receive audio and no video while the other Furrion TV's in the RV receive both audio and video.

What size were the tv's you had trouble with ?

How did they send a software update ? Was it sent to you on a flashdrive ?

I called the factory and they are looking into it, but weren't sure they have ever had a problem like this. Do you have info on the case number assigned to your request that I can send to them ?

If they cant fix it with a software / firmware patch, Forest River will need to replace both of them.

Thanks

Bob

Bob, below is the link I have for Furrion Customer Service. You will have to sign-up for an account. They provided a software update and instructions by email within about a week. I copied the file to a pin drive and followed instructions. It worked very well. The bad TV was the 19" bedroom set. Good luck.
