Furrion Vision 2 Observation Camera

We own a 2016 FR3 28 DS. It came with a camera that when backing up or turning, will give a visual inside the MH. The problem is we always travel with our Ford Explorer in tow, and when changing lanes, it is impossible to see our tow vehicle when doing a lane change and we don't want to cut anyone off abruptly and possibly cause an accident. We heard about the Furrion Vision 2 Observation Camera and it looks like it would give us greater visibility of our tow vehicle, but the cost of the camera plus installation is staggering! Even buying it on Amazon, it was still $369 without installation. We have inquired about installation and they want to charge $300 - $500! My question is, has anyone bought one and do you feel that it was worth the money? Thank you for your thoughts and suggestions!

I had one just installed on my 5th wheel and think it is worth it. It will definitely let you see your toad and what’s around it when changing lanes. Not sure about install. I paid $50 to have it installed. They wired it to the trailers marker lights.

I am installing a 7" LCD Monitor on the dash to use the existing cameras. I don't like taking my eyes off the road to look at the radio. It will be have the rear or turn view all the time not just when I backup. I read about it in another thread.

Amazon: Padarsey 7 Inch LED Backlight TFT LCD Monitor $27.99
