Fuse for camera monitor

Hi folks,

I am getting no power to my monitor. 2015 FR3 30DS. Does anyonr know where the fuse is or what else the problem may be?

Thank you,

Antone

Is the whole head unit dead? It is on the same fuse as the power shade, if the shade works, your fuse is good. If the shade and head unit both don't work, it is fuse #16 in the interior panel under the drivers position.

If the head unit works but the camera is dead, it might be that the cable came loose on the back. It's a round push on cable on the passenger side. It's come loose on mine and I can reach under the dash and push it in tighter without taking anything apart.

Shouldn't it be powered by running lights circuit? Or maybe reverse light circuit? That's how I would wire it. Doesn't make sense that the camera would come on, for example, only when you are putting the awning out...

It's a little confusing, the OP said monitor, so I'm assuming its the head unit. Just went through it on mine due to a short in the head unit wiring harness. Got the fuse number from FR. Taped off the loose wire and changed the fuse and shade worked. Later I replaced the wiring harness and the head unit came back. All is good now.

If it's the camera itself, I've never had to deal with it.

The shade works, so I’ll try what TLAK suggests. Thanks for the replies!

I hope this thread is still good cause all of sudden I’m having the same issue. The shade works but the fog lights don’t come on and the backup camera stopped working. Any help and or pics would be greatly appreciated.

I was able to get to the fuse box on the driver side but there’s no 16 slot

The 2015 F53 does not use #16 fuse (empty slot) it uses #15 for the same function (Body builder battery (+12V) feed).

Thanks for responding so quickly. I’m still in the coach and what I’m not finding are slots for 12thru 17.

Your fuse panel should look like this and according to the 2015 F53 owners manual fuse #16 is used (Body builder battery (+12V) feed).

Hey Bubbles. I wanted to say thank you for your shared information and quick response. I decided the problem was over my head and so I’ve contacted CW to fix the problem. Thanks again

You might check the fuses in your BCC (Battery Control Center) box for a blown fuse for the fog light issue.

Don't know if the FR3 is the same but these wires have caused havoc with front end lights (running/fog etc,) in the Georgetown in the past. Might have a look see.
