Sure it isn't a bulb?
Most of the time the lights are daisy chained and if one is out others should also be out.

No it is not a bulb. I have caused the short while replacing the on and off switch on the storage compartment lamp assembly, now I am looking for the fuse.

Have you checked in the control panel in the bedroom?

Fuses

The other place would be in the battery control center box in the house battery compartment

Fuses

There's a fuse box in the storage bay where the batteries are located. I'm not sure if the one you're looking for is in there, but it is a place to look.

Fuses

If you scroll down through all the listings in the FR3 forum here, z3406 posted FR3 schematics back on 8/15/14. Open this and hit the link. You'll be directed to the schematics which you should be able to print out.

If it's just one light...bulb. if is all your basement lights, there's a fuse in the black box beside the house batteries. Disconnect ground and unscrew the cap. Use a tester on the fuses. Mine went and I seem to recall it being the 1st or 2nd fuse, moving left to right...but a tester will be sure to catch it....
