Generator problems on a 2014 30DS

It seems that when I run my Onan 4000 generator while driving and the outside temperature is over 85 degrees it will stop all bu itself. It seems to be overheating, or a fuel line/ pump problem. Anyone know of a recall on the fuel pump?

I added a second fuel pump as described by a member on here and solved my problem.

We just did a trip with both the fuel pump mod and new vent. While I think the fuel pump mod will do the trick, the intake bay is definitely cooler now having access to fresh air. So for the sake of reliability of the fuel pump, ECU, generator intake, I'd recommend the vent mod as a long term fix. Just email FR, whoever is your regional warranty rep and explain your experiencing vapor lock issue with your gen. They've already sent parts to several of us on the forum for free, even if your outside of the normal warranty. So its a known issue by FR.

I'm guessing these mods only apply to those with Onan generators.

Wish I had one.
