We just did a trip with both the fuel pump mod and new vent. While I think the fuel pump mod will do the trick, the intake bay is definitely cooler now having access to fresh air. So for the sake of reliability of the fuel pump, ECU, generator intake, I'd recommend the vent mod as a long term fix. Just email FR, whoever is your regional warranty rep and explain your experiencing vapor lock issue with your gen. They've already sent parts to several of us on the forum for free, even if your outside of the normal warranty. So its a known issue by FR.
