How much gas did you have in the tank at this point?

(ps: please take it easy and try to not brake hard at all)

I had over 3/4 of a tank of gas. Believe me, part of my rv enjoyment is taking it easy, the other driver leaving key west were not of the same attitude, there was alot of short stopping.

Make sure that your oil is right up to the full mark. On many there is an oil sensor and sloshing could be setting it off.

Do a search on this forum for Onan oil sensor...you have a lot of company!

It's possible the genny has a low oil sensor. Hard braking might slosh the
oil to one side enough to trigger that?? Check oil level and make sure it's
all the way to the full mark.
Good luck!

(yeah, what Scott said- we were typing at the same time!)

Does your geni door have a vent in it? Could be vapor locking without air flow.

I hope this helps. I've had to replace the fuel filter three times now. The service guy tells me "oh yeah we've had troubles with this kind for awhile now ". Just saying.
