Sounds good! Our next trip out West is in 47 days (but who's counting?)!!! My fifth trip there--it never gets old!

We did the same thing about a month ago... currently enjoying two medicine lake (GNP) on our eastbound leg across the top. RMNP/Estes Park is next. Merrell's are getting a good workout. Too bad you will miss NAID's in Browning, MT. It is spectacular...

Go to auto zone & get a $10 repair kit for the window chip. Takes maybe 30 minutes to patch it. Then some time to dry. Don't remember how long to dry. Maybe couple hours ?? Easy to patch and will generally stop spot from getting bigger.

If there is a actual crack, not just a chip, it may be a bit late to use any type of repair kit. Sounds like a replacement to me, ask me how I know---ever been to Alaska for 3 months in a Ram pickup?????

Isn't it fun to take off and when you get there, you got there. Last January we left Michigan to find warm weather. Slowed down at times and finally stopped Arizona when we found the warm.

In laws in Tucson than at least Grand Canyon. Daughter wants to go to Yosemite, not sure if we'll get that far this year.

That's great. The wife and I travelled to the Pacific Ocean (West) on a motorcycle though, coming from the Houston area. Once you get past central Texas you'll start to see some great Americana heritage. I know you have no plans but try to make it to Monument Valley on the Utah/Arizona border. You won't regret the trip. We saw a bunch of stuff so just have fun and enjoy it.

Had that problem last year. Discovered that my insurance covered repair (if possible) at no cost. I was in Albuquerque and there is an RV park just West of town that had an authorized safelite repair on site! The repair comes with a lifetime guarantee. Just sayin...

I will look for you on the road. We are leaving from south Florida and heading west next week as well. We always have to stop in Las Vegas to see grand babies and then ???? I know we will spend some time in Colorado. We will plan based on weather map.

Happy trails.
